Ryan Van Gundy, MS, Clinical Counseling Certificate Ryan Van Gundy is a pre-licensed therapist with a Master's in Forensic Mental Health and a background as a Deputy Sheriff since 2013. He has led crisis negotiations and served as Education Coordinator for Minnesota’s CIT program. Trained in EMDR and DBT, Ryan focuses on trauma recovery, emotional regulation, and crisis response—particularly for first responders and high-risk populations. His dual experience in law enforcement and mental health gives him a unique, empathetic approach to clinical care. Phillip Tarmann, MA, LPCC, LADC Phillip Tarmann is a licensed clinical counselor and alcohol and drug counselor with supervisory credentials. He has over a decade of experience in correctional, community, and educational settings. Phill specializes in mental health support for high-stress populations. Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and law enforcement care, Phill is known for his strengths-based approach and commitment to resilience and recovery.
